i may jinx myself with this post.
but, i haven't been really sick for over a year.
and i think it's because i haven't been to the hall that much,and i stopped going to circuit assemblies,which have always been huge germ fests.. after the circuit assembly this year, i heard of a lot of families,especially with small children,all having the stomach flu.
I noticed the same thing, EmptyInside.
The peer pressure to be there at all costs is the problem. It over rules the basic common sense of staying home if you are sick. The last two jobs I had ENCOURAGED you to stay home if you thought you were coming down with something. The cost of having one person stay home is much less than dealing with the epidemic in the workplace because you went to work with the flu, or a cold.

while reading the last post about light bulb moments, i thought of something that once really impressed me as a witness.. .
every once in a while at the ca /da / or service meeting a part would pop up about how the witnesses would run into a dissinterested person.. perhaps this person would yell, threaten, or just be plain mean.
but the part that always was made was how if this worldly person used the name jehovah.
Background: I am known as an ex dub around these parts . . never DF'ed or announced from the platform because I threatened the local elders with legal action. Although I am sure the "theocraptic grapevine" got the ~werd~ out
I still get called on when the group is in the area, about once every two years or so. I refer to him as Yaweh, the God of the Israelites. And I refer to Jesus as Our Lord Jesus . . It really irritates them. Plus I am the only house on the street that flys a big-ass flag on July 4 weekend off the pole on my porch.
BTW, the Mennonites call much more often than the j@H00v3rs, I can actualy have a mutually enjoyable and beneficial conversation with them for 20 minutes or so. Good, hard working American folks with real values.
i just got off listening to the the tape about the teh bethlelite brothers and the case a member of the anointed has filed against a congregation about an illegal disfellowshiping...and both of these "brothers" have set this organization for a very hard fall!

The book that ~really~ (I was already anyway) got me to start thinking for myself back in the mid '90s was "Fingerprints of the Gods" by Graham Hancock. I had some ~really~ interesting discussions with the Circuit Overseer for CNY at the time about the ideas contained therein, can't recall his name, maybe some here can help with the name.
The basic premise of "Fingerprints of the Gods" was that the Maya/Inca/Olmec/Aztec/Egyptian civilizations did not build all those empires of stone . . they simply moved in and swept the dust out . .

foodalls may be more accurate than many think. I also believe something major is in the wind. And it is not what mainstream religion has been preaching and is prepared for.
Annunaki etc., the Hopi prophecies, etc. There is a major Earthchange imminent . . maybe soon, maybe a bit later than soon.
This is sure; Many of us will live to see the end of the petroleum age. Some of us may live to see the second American revolution.
